Midori's circular ceramic box cutter is so smart and feature-rich it would be difficult to find any way to improve upon its design. When closed, the cutter is a compact circle, small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. It opens in the middle, Pac-Man style, to a full 180 degrees. The blade is ceramic which is sharp, highly durable, and rust-proof. Easily cut through cardboard boxes, or rest the flat edge on the cutting surface to cut a single sheet of paper.
For convenience, the ceramic cutter contains a hidden magnet so you can attach to a refrigerator or other metal surface. There is also a hole near the hinge if you'd prefer to attach a strap and hang it. Finally, the blade itself can be removed, flipped, and reinserted for a fresh blade when the edge starts to dull. Like we said, they thought of everything.
